Which laundry package should I choose at Love2Laundry?
To get a load of laundry washed, choose our ‘6kg Wash Dry & Fold’ package, which is only £16.85. For context, a 6kg wash is enough to wash around 30 shirts or a dozen bath towels.
If you would prefer to separate your laundry into individual items, then we can also accommodate this. For instance, it costs £2.75 to wash, iron and hang a shirt.
For dry cleaning, we have different costs per item- e.g. the price is just £25.50 to dry clean a two-piece suit and five shirts.
Are you too busy to figure out whether to separate your laundry or go for a 6kg wash? Then simply go on our website and click ‘Skip This Step: Just Send Me A Bag And I’ll Fill It’.

How do I stay organised when doing laundry?
When doing laundry, it is easy to become distracted or forgetful, which adds more time and effort to a household chore which is already time-consuming and arduous.
So, what are ways to stay organised and on top of your laundry schedule, so you don’t feel overwhelmed with a mountain of dirty clothes in your home?
Follow these tips below:
- Outsource your laundry to a professional laundry company. This is super convenient for busy lifestyles and emergencies when you need a quick turnaround for clothing to be cleaned. It will also help you save on your energy and electricity bills because you will be using your washing machine and tumble dryer far less!
- Schedule a day and time during the week to tackle your laundry. Stick to this time slot, rather than doing little bits of laundry every day, which will free up your time much more.
- Don’t allow your laundry hamper to overflow with clothes. Try sorting your dirty laundry by colour, which will save you the task of separating by colour later on. You can buy triple laundry hampers, which allow you to section your laundry into three loads.
- Don’t let your clean laundry sit in a basket for days and days. Fold, hang, iron, and put these garments away as soon as they are clean and fully dry.
- If you lose socks easily in the wash, then put your socks and delicates inside a mesh laundry bag, before placing the bag in the washing machine. Never lose a sock again!
- If you lose pillowcases easily, then simply wrap these inside the matching bed sheet or duvet cover, and voila- the pillowcase won’t get lost, because it is safely tucked inside.
- Organise your cupboards with baskets, and label these, so you know exactly where your clean laundry items belong.
- If you are travelling somewhere, especially if you will be swimming, try and get laundry done, either by finding a professional laundry company or visiting a launderette. Then, you will return home with fresh, clean garments, and no loads of dirty laundry to deal with!
- If you have children who are close together in age, then you may get their clothes mixed up in the laundry. To identify whose garments are whose, mark the care labels with a Sharpie pen, so you can always tell whom it belongs to.
- Label your laundry baskets with the name of each person in your household- and they can be responsible for sorting and folding their laundry.
- Use a drying rack to dry your clothes, which can be unassembled and put away, when you don’t need to use it.
- Keep a bin near your washing machine and tumble dryer, so you can easily dispose of lint, fluff and any other objects inside the pockets of your laundry items.
- Once a month set a day to clean your washing machine. Over time, dirt, grime and leftover detergent residue will accumulate inside your appliances, which will encourage the growth of bacteria and mould.
So, you can clean the inside of your washing machine by pouring two cups of bleach into the detergent tray, and then allowing the machine to run a wash cycle. You can also wipe the appliance down with a clean, soft cloth and a solution of distilled vinegar and baking soda.
